Venture begins earning in Equatorial Guinea

Norwegian drilling business Venture Drilling has started earning under contract for ConocoPhillips in Equatorial Guinea, the company announced Monday.

Venture is the 50-50 Sinvest and Petrolia Drilling company behind the Valentin Shashin, soon to be renamed Deep Venture.

The company will begin earning up to $220 million over the next 18 months.
