Indian government awards 52 oil and gas blocks under NELP-VI Feb 9, 2007Indian federal government on Thursday awarded 52 oil and gas exploration blocks under NELP-VI, in which ONGC got 24 and Reliance Industries won the bid for seven. Of the 24 blocks awarded to ONGC, 12 are deep water, 10 on land and 2 in shallow water.
Enbridge conducts open season on new Gulf of Mexico Oil Pipeline Feb 9, 2007Canadian company Enbridge Inc. will conduct a non-binding Open Season for firm capacity on a new 26-mile, 20-inch diameter deepwater crude oil pipeline in the Gulf of Mexico. The pipeline will transport oil from the Green Canyon, Block 613, to a sub-sea connection with the Caesar Oil Pipeline Company, LLC, system in Green Canyon, Block 650.
