Mexican army and police have been reinforced after two pipeline blasts in a week proved to be the work of rebels partly protesting the narrow election win of the conservative federal government.
The Popular Revolutionary Army has vowed to carry out more attacks, Reuters reported Thursday.
Extras helicopters and troops were among the measures being taken to guard 14, 000 kilometres of Pemex pipeline from rebels demanding the release of arrested comrades.
