Total cuts Dalia flows in half

Total of Paris has had to halve production at its 220,000-barrel-per-day Dalia field offshore Angola, after a turbo generator failed, it was understood Thursday.

"Some generators were not working well so we used emergency generators but these are less powerful so the production was reduced by half,” news agency Reuters reported a spokesman saying.
