Hydro readies mass, modifications shut-down

A communique from Hydro, soon to be merged with Statoil, said Wednesday that the installations in the Oseberg field area will be closed for a planned overhaul that won’t affect yearly production forecasts.

Oseberg and Grane facilities plus the Stureterminal will be shut down for maintenance modifications while inspections take place. The Oseber Field Centre, Oseberg Oest, Oseberg Sør, “C”, Brage and Heimdal will aslo be shut down for a period later in 2007.

Work will get underway bewteen May 30 and June 6, and the Heimdal platforms process module will shut down from May 28 to June 11.
