Teton brings 7 wells to gas sales in the DJ Basin

Teton Energy Corporation announced today that 7 additional wells have been connected to gas sales in the DJ Basin. This now brings the total number of producing wells to 20 in both the Chundy and Grant Field areas.

The Company will continue to flow test these new wells for the next 30 to 45 days to establish stabilized natural gas production rates. The 7 new wells were added in the Chundy area to the 7 existing wells which are currently producing, bringing the total Chundy wells to 14. There are 6 producing wells which have been previously announced in the Grant area, bringing the total gross number of Teton producing wells in the DJ Basin to 20.

Based on log analysis, and comparison to existing producing wells, all 7 of the new wells appear to be capable of economic natural gas production.
