PetroMena interests win in $942M Pemex hire

Pemex has hired the PetroRig III, a rig and business of PetroMena, whose major shareholder Larsen Oil & Gas will manage a contract worth $942 million, or 1,825 days of work.

Norwegian oil magnate Berge Gerdt Larsen owns shares in PetroMena and PetroRig III via Larsen Oil & Gas. Petrolia Drilling owns 43 percent of PetroMena, and Larsen is a board member at Petrolia and at Petrojack, which are together already good for 50.57 percent and control of PetroMena.

Pemex notified Larsen Oil & Gas of its contract win against international bidders.
