SS Petrolia becomes $269M Pemex hire

Bergen-, Norway based Petrolia Drilling has found high-paying work for one of its rigs by employing drilling contractor and manager, Larsen Oil & Gas Ltd. of Aberdeen, it was understood Monday.

The upgraded, “second-generation” SS Petrolia semi-subersible will earn $269 million over 913 days beginning this October.

Mexican state income earner, Pemex, awarded the contract via international tender.
