Oslo-listed Canadian independent, Questerre Energy, has struck gas again at its Beaver Creek well in British Columbia, where up to 540 million cubic feet are targeted.

While striking gas using “slick water fracture stimulations”, the A-7 well flowed readily from one strata, and flowed 1.9 MMcfd.on a 45 millimetre choke from a higher interval. When run together, the test developed a “tubing obstruction” but flows were convincing enough.

Operator Questerre and global gas player Transeuro will tie the well in to pipe systems in place.
